Review 6: Psyren

Okay the formatting is being all weird and I don't know how to fix it, so I'm afraid you'll just have to deal with it. So I was originally going to do this post on Hellsing, but decided not to. So now you get Psyren. Oh hooray the formatting decided to function properly.
Oh, nevermind. Anyways, Psyren first showed up in the American Monthly Shonen Jump magazine a little while ago, so I thought for a last review I would review this one. It is about a kid who finds a 'Psyren' phone card which transports him into a real life 'game' type thing of a futuristic and completely destroyed Japan. Everything I've read is incredibly mysterious and it is all talking about how they have to figure out how to prevent Japan from getting destroyed. And did I mention they get crazy mind powers?

Anyways, since I'm not too sure about the plot, I'll talk about the rest of it. I didn't mind it, but it reminded me a lot of Bleach for some reason. The art is kind of similar to Tite Kubo's, so that could be why. It was a little to 'we're not going to tell you what's going on for a while to keep it suspenseful' for me. Though that could just be because I've been reading one or two chapters per month so it seems super dragged out. The panels are layed out fairly simply, and everything has made some sense so far, which is good.

Since I really haven't read that much, I don't have much else to say-it's a shonen manga, if you like that and have nothing else to read, read it. Anyways, 'twas fun reviewing.
